| I have a physical disability (by birth) with my leg. It is not major, but the length of left leg is little smaller than the right one and people will notice it when i walk fast. Also my left foot is also little smaller. I am 33 years old now and is it possible to correct this problem by surgery or by any other means ? How costly it will be?

| Here is a reply from Dr. Rajaram, orthopaedic surgeon at our clinic: Yes, it might be possible to correct it by a surgery known as 'Ilizarov technique', although it is a slow and slightly painful procedure. But if the difference is not too much, perhaps some other measures can be taken. You are advised to see an orthopaedic surgeon who can evaluate your unique situation and recommend the possible alternatives.
