hi,
I have pain in my right shoulder and everyday i have pain in the right side of my neck. Even if i lift a light object my shoulder grumbles with the effort. I have to keep on doing neck rotations, some circular massages and sleep with a neck pillow! still everday i go through this same schedule. I actually lifted a heavy bag and then had acute pain in my shoulder and neck so was given medicines and applied volini spray with hot water massage but though the acute pain has gone, this is now a big discomfort. Also my knees pain badly and i have to keep on doing stretching exercises inorder to even walk properly. Climbling steps is indeed an effort! i am now taking calcium sandox hoping for a cure!

do advice me on the next step. I definitely don't want to live with all these discomforting ailments since i am only 30yrs!

thanks

Hello:

It is generally NOT a good idea to exercise an aching muscle- best is to give it some rest and wait which I know can be difficult since you are only thirty! You should see an orthopedist or physiotherapist who will do a physical checkup and advise you how best to give rest and when and which exercises to do. Drugs may not be the best option in this case.
